The Programme aims to:
- The preparation of well-trained executives, capable of promoting the development of each Hotel Unit they lead, through the specialized knowledge and experience provided by this Programme.
- The coverage of educational needs, at postgraduate level, for professional executives of the Hotel Units
- The promotion of effective management methods in the hotel business and the understanding of the contribution of this offer to the development of the tourism industry and the host country's economy in general.
In the proposed Hotel Management program, special attention has been given to the provision of up-to-date knowledge regarding both the theoretical and technological part of hotel education, in order to provide high level knowledge required by the specialties of Administrative Executives of the Departments and the General Management of Hotels.
Purpose of the Programme
The aim of this Postgraduate Programme is to provide high quality education which aims to create scientists with excellent training and high skills in the science of Hotel Management and in the operation of the individual Hotel Departments that make up a Hotel Company.
The programme aims to meet the increasing demands of the business environment for specialised knowledge in the hotel industry. It is designed to provide high level training in hotel organization and management, with the topics covered including a wide range of subjects such as the analysis of the business environment of the hotel industry, the strategic management of hotel operations, the specifics of hotel human resource management, the new technologies applied in the industry and any area of knowledge that can support the maximization of the efficiency of a modern hotel business.
